Biology
Biology, the science of life, has been one of the most important areas of human interest for decades, but especially today. Biology is the study of the complex mechanisms of life and vital processes, from the simplest molecules to animal and plant organisms. Biology uses special methods of investigation to analyze and explain the fundamental biological phenomena related to genetic control, the development of organisms, physiological processes, homeostasis and disease, the mechanisms of biological defense or interactions between organisms.
The specialist in Biology deals with the implementation of a complex theoretical basis, by integrating knowledge from various related sciences, to formulate working hypotheses, substantiate theories and bring to light the mysteries of life. The training of the future biologist involves familiarizing him with methods and knowledge from all branches of biology, such as biodiversity conservation, botany, zoology, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, ecology, plant and animal physiology.
By acquiring specific theoretical knowledge and practical skills, Biology graduates will be able to integrate into a wide range of fields of activity: in the education system, in research laboratories, the health system, natural parks, museums, the pharmaceutical industry.
