Accommodation
The accommodation of the students is done in the dorms on the university campus, which currently benefit from a maximum capacity of over 1,100 places distributed in the 5 existing and functional student dormitories. All 5 dormitories are at least up to the standard of a two star hotel. In each dormitory there are offices for food preparation and for washing / ironing; the dormitories have internet and cable TV.
The accommodation action takes place in two stages:
Stage I
It takes place in June-July, when the accommodation requests are submitted to the secretariat by the students of years II-V, including by the family members, and based on the tables issued by the deaneries of the respective faculties, they are issued by the head of the dormitory-canteen service, accommodation arrangements.
The accommodation and the room in which the student will live in the next academic year will be mentioned in the accommodation disposition. As far as possible, it is recommended to maintain the dormitory and the room where the student lived in the previous academic year. The dean of the faculty will analyze the accommodation possibilities for the first year students and will inform in this sense, the candidates for the admission contest.
Stage II
It takes place no more than 5 days before the start of the academic year. At this stage, a lease agreement is concluded with the administrator, in which the obligations and rights of the signatory parties will be established, and on the basis of the payment receipt of the accommodation rate, the payment receipt of the guarantee fund and the meal card will be issued. home card and then barracks.
The value of the guarantee received from each student will be established by the Senate and will be paid, against payment, at the time of accommodation, after which the distribution will be released.
The first student staying in the room becomes the room manager. This will be mentioned on the accommodation contract and a report will be concluded on taking over the room. In case of his departure, the function belongs to the next accommodated student.
The accommodation contract with the students who lived in the dormitory ends after the presentation of the room rental contract, signed by the administrator in the respective year.
At most 10 days before the beginning of the academic year, they will be issued by the dean’s offices, the tables containing the students who will be accommodated in the dormitory on the remaining places, based on which the distribution of rooms and accommodation will be made.
The distribution of the students in the rooms is done by the accommodation commission of the faculty and the student social commission of the dormitory together with the Canteen-canteen service of which the administrator of the dormitory is part.

The House of Culture of the Students whose main objective is to support the participation of the academic community in the actions of affirmation of the local and national culture;
Radio USV – the online radio station of the “Ştefan cel Mare” University, under the coordination of the Students’ Culture House and an online communication platform dedicated to both students and teachers. Radio USV follows the direction given by the House of Students’ Culture and promotes the affirmation of the national culture, among the European culture and develops the qualities of the students. Students can dine in the university restaurant with a total of 208 seats, which provides meals for about 2,000 people / day. The operating period of the restaurant is between October 1st – July 31st, from Monday to Friday, between 12.00 – 20.30;
Medical assistance is provided free of charge to all university students in the medical office on campus;
Sports
“Ștefan cel Mare” University has a Swimming and Physiotherapy Complex that includes a swimming pool, physiotherapy offices, massage rooms, saunas, Jacuzzi; Sports field with a running track with an area of 2,400 sq m covered with a pressure balloon designed for sports games; Gym with all the necessary equipment for gymnastics, handball, volleyball;
Cabana Şipoţel, which covers an area of 928 m2 and has multiple destinations: accommodation rooms, lecture hall for 30 people, offices, kitchen, dining room, laundry;
Gălăneşti teaching base, for specialized practice;
Vatra Dornei Territorial Education Center, which offers accommodation and education;
Astronomical observatory
The planetarium in Suceava was inaugurated in 1982 and is the largest in the country in terms of room capacity and dome diameter. It is intended for the design of the sky in the southern and northern hemisphere, the solar system, visible planets, Galilean satellites, etc. The Planetarium Hall is hemispherical in shape, with a dome opening of 10 m and a capacity of 80 circular seats. The planetarium has a library that includes books and specialized periodicals, a real support for all astronomy enthusiasts.
Modern infrastructure
FMBS has modern laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment: Laboratories of Metagenomics, Microbiology and Molecular Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Botany, Cytology and Histology, Vertebrate and Invertebrate Biology, Computational Genetics, Anatomy, Dental Technique, Physiotherapy and Medical Imaging, and the clinical disciplines are carried out in partnership with Sucitalea J.
The faculty has a Medical Simulation Center, Computer and Biostatistics laboratories.

Student camps
Students from full-time, fee-free courses who, after the previous year of study, are integralists can benefit from free tickets in student camps, within the allocated places. The allocation of places is made according to the results obtained in the professional and research activity.
